After an 11 hour flight from Heathrow to LAX, the team settles back in at the studio. We all have appointments lined up for the upcoming months ahead. So we proceed to take it day by day with our agendas.
My first appointment is long time friend Martha. She has been wanting to be in the chair for quite some time now. Taking inspiration from OG Abel’s Lost Angel pattern that she found in her fathers old magazines. We put together a half sleeve which will eventually merge into a full one, later on down the road.
Martha bares my first ever tattoo from 5 years back!! So I personally wanna thank her for unconditional love and support over time. Enjoy your new tat my friend!!
The convention went down this weekend, here are a few snaps of what went down overall. Thanks to everyone who came down and dropped by the booth.
Geovanno from Milan, who got tattooed by my boy Sam Dusenberry last year, came by to get his hand done. Follow up neck tattoo in the works for next years expo, stay tuned…
Skate deck exchange with my homegirl Delia Vico. One of thee most talented european artist I know, can’t thank you enough for the board!
Finishing off the evening with our last visit to our hot-spot ”Timeout”
Back to the studio shortly, see you guys in a bit.
Justin took a plane down from South Germany to start a project sleeve. He wanted to begin with St. Michael for the upper arm, symbolizing the battle between Good Vs Evil. He went in for a long sesh without any complaints, thanks again for enduring the whole thing.First session locked in. More to come so keep posted.
OG Lee from London in the hot seat for some custom lettering across the knuckles. He booked the appointment a few months back, so i was glad we were able to knock that out. He’s been down with Lowrider team for a while now, much appreciation for allowing into the collection big homie.
Also our good friend and all-around talented artist, Alex from Brighton. Beveled bottom-rocker for our first session, next up in April he flies out to the studio to get a piece on his leg. Keep up the amazing work & thanks again for all the help and inspiration.
This quote is for you brother:
”I often say to Mike,”You know I owe you a lot,”and he doesn’t know what I mean…If he weren’t here, I probably wouldn’t be alive today…I believe that people die because they no longer want to live, they have no motivation to stay alive. But I have a reason with Mike here, and he gives me the motivation. I will stay alive and I will watch him become a success, because I will not leave until that happens. -Cus D’Amato speaking on Mike Tyson.”
Later Mike Tyson breaks the record for youngest Boxing Heavyweight Champion Of The World at the age of 20.
After a 2 hour train ride from Milan we finally come to The City Of Water, Venice. We begin our early morning run by riding the gondola towards Piazza San Marco. Little do we know it’s the official starting day of the town’s carnival. Immediately we run into swarms of spectating groups and tourists from all over.
Venitian carnival folk coming from every direction! Even Jose tried to get in on the fun…
