Oscar from New York flew in to get some fine-line custom handwriting across the chest today. He gave me creative control to freehand something that would take a large portion of the chest area, it actually worked out great overall. Much love for the brother from the East Coast for letting me put this piece together.
This week has been really exciting but hectic, a lot of tattoo projects and remodeling of the studio. More surprises to come but for now I’ll leave you with an alternative spin on a new-wave classic…
Happy Father’s Day weekend to all the fellas out there holding it down.
New client Dimitri came in from Canada to pay homage to his Greek background by getting a tattoo of Athena, Goddess of War. With family still in Athens, the capital of Greece, he wants to always carry the heritage along with him. Thanks for coming down from British-Columbia to get this done, enjoy the rest of your trip.

Fellowship amongst all the guys is always kept solid here at the studio, finished up quite early so I threw a custom lettering chin-strap on apprentice David Lagunas. We all even got a chance to watch the Tattoo Nation documentary, which had great insight on the history of Fine Line Black & Gray tattooing.
Have a look at David’s process, and of course Jose Villa goofing off…
