Big day today at the studio, with lettering monster Defer to swing by and deliver a one of a kind painting. I have been following this pioneer for quite some time, with an evolutionary style of lettering and characters thrown down on canvas like no other. I can’t thank you enough for the artwork brother. I hold this custom piece with very deep affection, dedicated to my immediate family.
The man behind the brush, Defer – K2S holding up the commisioned graphics.
Ready to be hung up in my station without a doubt. More artwork coming soon from all my favorite artists in the game. Stay tuned everybody!
A memorial piece for Jose from Argentina, he allowed me to have full control over placement and creativity, which resulted in this all-inclusive project for his grandmother. Thanks brother for allowing me to do this for you.
Rest In Paradise
Yesterday’s run to the tattoo supply spot made me stop and capture the outstanding murals in East Fullerton. Have a look at the exceptional artwork that defines this particular chicano community.
From religion to lowriding – tradition & heritage to the pachuco riots, this bridge had it all.
And this closes off another post of this Las Calles segment, hope you enjoyed this inside look at a small portion of what Southern California has to offer.
The french electronic music duo for today’s music choice. Thanks to each and everyone who stopped by the studio this past week. Enjoy the weekend everybody!
We’ve come too far, to give up who we are.
Lowrider artist Jeff Romero from our second studio in Orange for today’s sitting. His first born son Raiden for a distinctive handshot. Custom old english with a powder-shaded Raiders shield to seal the deal. Next up is my brother Johnny Opina for the other unique fist piece!
Color Him Father.
Mase Sinatra from Northern California for an inclusion of the King of Kings, Jesus Christ. He was very open to my present take on this painting with some offset rays and clouds. Turned out to be a very enjoyable session with our supporter from the Bay Area, thanks again for always following through.
Thy kingdom come.
