Vacations, for the most part are usually planned, but that wasn’t the case for me. My itinerary had everything marked to spend a great week in Hawaii, but I doubled-up on fun when I found out some close friends were also visiting the island. Amidst the fun, LA’s very own Norm tops it off and finally opens the doors to his new studio in Honolulu, where Eric Marcinizyn & I were fortunate enough to work a couple days.
As a resident in the paradise isle, Norm and the fellas showed us all a great time. Here’s the rundown…
After all the fun in the sun, we get back to the city and head to work. Grind Time!!

Honored to tattoo some custom script on the Lettering King himself, also threw down some freehand fonts on Oahu native Kyle from Morals Fiber. After the long hours some dinner and drinks, and can’t forget dessert, malasadas from Leonard’s portuguese bakery.
And before you know it, the trip is over and we’re all heading back home in different directions. Til’ next time, Mahalo!
Finally bringing closure to some projects from a few months back. Eric from the state of Colorado for these back to back sessions, we sealed the inside arm thoroughly. Everything tied in and ran down flush, thanks for giving me the opportunity to do this for you.
Feeling completely in control and inspired by some fellow artists, he brought references from Steve Soto & Eric Marcinizyn to the table. I hope I gave these tattoo giants justice.
Long sessions of 10 hours plus can be quite draining and tough to pull through, but it’s a collective effort. The conclusion being a project of different ideas and thoughts being made a permanent artistic reality.
Thanks to each and everybody dropping in as of late and supporting all of us here at the studio.
