Sam from Long Beach for these wooden masks, signifying Korean culture and ancestry. I’ts always a great time with these heritage pieces. I have a few in rotation at the moment, can’t wait to showcase the new segments.

The purpose of these national treasures were to be used in war, for both the soldier and its horse. Ceremonially, for burial rites to drive away evil spirits; to remember the faces of great historical figures in death masks; and in the arts, particularly in ritual dances, courtly, and theatrical plays.

Cancun is located in the Riviera Maya and holds some of the Carribean’s most intriguing treasures. With all things sought-after: mayan temples, beaches, alcohol, food, etc. The activities were never ending. But this was a trip for my immediate family to enjoy the holiday season.

We switch the layout after witnessing Chichen-Itza to some nature and exotic wildlife, from animals for the general public, to some others much deeper in the abyss. And as always the people of Quintana Roo were so noble and welcoming.

We happened to stumble across the city of Merida on the Yucatan Peninsula. Also being home to the second oldest Cathedral in the New World, the Cathedral of San Ildefonso.

We also walked through the premier beaches and witnessed a lot of people enjoying fun in the sun. So, we made it a priority to take part in the turquoise water paradise.
